BIOGRAPHY
Carolina Crowe is an independent Irish Hat Designer who creates hats for that special occasion as well as casual and outdoor pursuits. I studied Millinery at The Grafton Academy of Fashion Design. My creations are unique, handmade with great emphasis being placed on attention to detail and finish. Most people admit that they would love to wear a hat if they could find the right one, ready to wear, sizes and shapes are often limited. The hat market does not readily provide a solution for the various head sizes. This deficiency gave me the idea of building a hat brand that caters to people’s needs.
HOW I MAKE HATS
Hats to me are wearable art. I love the creative part and I am only limited by my imagination. Hats have come and gone as status symbols, uniforms and fashion statements as well as being functional and protective headwear.
